Behind The Scenes of Aline’s Editorial Portrait Shooting

For me, every editorial portrait shooting produced in the studio is an opportunity to translate a woman’s essence and personality — exploring all her different sides. And that’s exactly what I did when creating Aline’s feminine editorial session.

Aline didn’t choose my work by chance. She had already experienced a session with me before and traveled all the way from São Paulo to Belo Horizonte (in Brazil) to be photographed in my studio.

As a style consultant, Aline shares my vision of celebrating the multiplicity of femininity. Her wish was to have an editorial portrait shooting that reflected her many versions — with an artistic, dramatic, and creative touch.

Personalization: The Secret to an Unforgettable Editorial Portrait Shooting

Aline’s Muse Experience began with Style Consulting, a key step in every session to deeply understand each woman’s identity. It’s during this stage that I discover how she wants to see herself through my lens.

Here’s how we built her session:

  • Concept definition: We discussed her inspirations, references, and creative intentions.
  • Look selection: We curated outfits that represented her multiple sides — from bold to delicate.
  • Photography storyboard: Based on these choices, I designed a fully personalized shooting plan.

The goal was to ensure that every detail — from styling to lighting — expressed her authenticity, strength, and creativity while maintaining a sense of softness and elegance.

Creative Sets to Bring Identity to the Editorial Portrait Shooting

Once the concept was established, it was time to bring those ideas to life visually. To do that, I created unique and artistic sets, combining textures, colors, and light to tell her story.

  • Hand-painted backdrops: Custom-designed by me to add texture and a signature artistic aesthetic.
  • Foliage and fabric curtains: Natural, elegant elements that added a soft yet sophisticated atmosphere.
  • Lighting design: A blend of flash and natural light from the studio’s large windows, creating dramatic contrasts and visual depth.

Each of these details helped build the visual narrative of Aline’s editorial portrait shooting, allowing her to express every layer of her identity.

Expression and Movement: Capturing the Muse’s Essence

Beyond the scenery and styling, expression and movement played a major role in this session.

  • Interaction with clothing: The movement of the fabrics became part of the storytelling, adding authenticity and fluidity.
  • Dynamic poses and gestures: We explored natural gestures, eye contact, and posture to evoke emotion and power.

The result? A portrait series full of strength, creativity, and spontaneity — a true reflection of who Aline is.

The Muse Experience Celebrates Your True Essence

In the end, every woman who steps into my studio brings her own story — and every session is an artistic translation of that uniqueness. With Aline, we managed to express her authenticity in a powerful, elegant, and deeply personal way.
