When art and entrepreneurship meet, something truly inspiring happens. This portrait photoshoot took place in a Zurich studio, where I had the pleasure of photographing Luci, a brilliant Brazilian entrepreneur living in Switzerland.
Luci is the founder of “Destino Suíça”, a destination management company based in Zurich that provides private and personalized services for travelers seeking authentic Swiss experiences. Her elegance, strength, and entrepreneurial spirit made this session one of the highlights of my season in Switzerland.
Creating Beyond Borders: My Artistic Journey in Zurich as Brazilian Photographer
The international expansion of my photography career has brought many beautiful surprises — and meeting Luci was one of them.
Photographing in a completely new cultural setting like Zurich, has been an incredible and enriching experience for my growth as an artist. Each session abroad allows me to explore new ways of seeing and feeling, refining my perspective and storytelling through portraits.
And, of course, connecting with inspiring women and giving them the opportunity to shine through photography remains one of my greatest purposes in life.
Inside the Zurich Studio: A Portrait that Blends Brazil and Switzerland
For Luci’s portrait session, our goal was to explore the many sides of her personality — as a professional, a woman, and a leader. We aligned the session’s aesthetics carefully, creating a style that feels elegant, timeless, and creative.
The atmosphere in the Zurich studio was calm yet full of energy. Luci is Brazilian like me, so we connected really fast.
Also, the soft light, neutral tones, and minimalist setting in the studio reflected Luci’s refined essence while giving her space to express her warmth and authenticity.
And just like that, final images show her duality perfectly — the sophistication of Switzerland mixed with the vibrant spirit of Brazil.
