An Artistic Portrait Shooting to Reveal New Versions of Yourself
Ivana had been following my work for a while and dreamed of seeing herself in a new light.
So, even though this was her very first professional photo session, she decided to dive right in and embrace something more artistic — a truly feminine and authorial experience.
And let me tell you: it was amazing to see how deeply she connected with the idea from the very beginning.
Creating the Scenery: Between Intensity and Softness
When Ivana showed me her visual references and the outfits she had chosen, I knew we were about to create something rich in possibilities.
She has a truly unique wardrobe and gave me complete creative freedom — which allowed me to design two contrasting yet complementary concepts during the Styling Consultation.
Set 1: I used an intense red fabric to create striking compositions full of presence and emotion.
Set 2: I explored soft, flowing drapes that brought a sense of lightness, movement, and poetic delicacy.
I also incorporated hand-painted backdrops and cinematic lighting — both part of my artistic signature — to create a distinctive aesthetic for each Muse.
Direction and Connection During the Session
Throughout the artistic portrait shooting, I guided Ivana carefully through every detail — from her poses to the flow of each outfit — so she could feel confident, natural, and completely immersed in the experience.
Gradually, I watched a woman in front of my camera having fun, expressing herself freely, and rediscovering her own beauty.
The atmosphere was lighthearted, joyful, and filled with laughter. By the end of the session, Ivana told me something that truly touched me: she wanted to live that experience all over again.
