“I’d like to share my testimonial about the unique moment I experienced—the day I discovered a woman who had been hidden, suppressed, and silenced, and who finally broke free.
It’s hard to put into words the whirlwind of emotions that went through my mind in that moment. So many times, I put my dreams aside to live someone else’s, especially as a mother and wife. I had to break deeply rooted internal patterns (which was the hardest part for me), and on top of that, there was the shame, the shyness, and the self-judgments.
The butterflies in my stomach were overwhelming… But you, Mari, with your welcoming and charismatic demeanor, made me feel completely at ease. We laughed, we talked, we shared life experiences. Everything was simply perfect. The afternoon was beautiful, with the sunlight peeking through the window, and the space was so cozy.
I felt like an absolute queen (and mind you, I’m incredibly critical of myself). I felt beautiful! Shyness? I didn’t even remember it in the moment! I didn’t want to go home. What I wanted was to do another shoot! And another, and another… Each one in its own unique way!
