“I had always wanted to take ‘sensual’ photos, but I never had the courage to take that step. I believe it was due to the fear of not knowing what to do or how to act, as well as societal paradigms and even my own lack of acceptance of my body. The desire was there, but the courage and action weren’t.
Today, with more maturity—since I’m now 42 years old—I’ve come to realize that I have the right to fulfill my dreams. After all, today I’m a strong, independent, courageous woman, and in charge of my desires.
I believe every woman should accept and love herself as she is. This is a matter of self-esteem and self-acceptance. And I know myself well; I know I’d love to see my photos with a flatter stomach and a more sculpted body. But ‘this is who I am,’ and I love myself this way. So, I’ve been working on this for a while. I started taking better care of my health and, consequently, my body. After 16 months, I’ve achieved a body that I’m loving more and more every day.
So, I thought, this is my moment.
I searched on Google and found Mari. It was love at first sight. I had never seen work like hers before. They weren’t just photos—they were works of art. I immediately reached out and scheduled my photoshoot.
I was so amazed by Mari’s professionalism and the wonderful person she is that I completely “dove into” the photoshoot.
It was a unique experience. Seeing myself as a work of art, and above all, seeing myself as I had always dreamed, was incredible—there aren’t even words to express the immense joy, satisfaction, and gratitude I felt.
My wish is that every woman has an experience like this. We all deserve this gift!”
