“I always knew I would be an artist. Creating and expressing myself was always my way of existing. What I didn’t know back them was that I could use my talent to transform women.
I come from a simple family in a small town in Brazil. But I was given an incurable energy full of dreams and hopes, even though nothing around me could match my desires. I believe I was born this way: restless and curious.
At the age of 15, I discovered photography. At that time, I was a teenager not too happy about what I saw in the mirror. But one day, while photographing myself, I discovered a powerful tool for changing the perspective about me and my dichotomies. And just like that, my self-portraits were born, which later open a path for photographing women.
I left home at 17 and went to the capital of my state Minas Gerais, a city called Belo Horizonte. I studied film and start my career in photography.
I started shooting professionally in 2008, focusing on women photoshoots, mostly boudoir and portraits. In 2009, I began to develop a deeper experience, observing and studying female self-image and self-esteem.
I worked hard and booked myself a immersive photography course in England in the summer of 2011. Later, I complete my postgraduate degree in Contemporary Arts, which was a childhood dream.
Through my studies, I developed a more artistic and refined vision about photography. I brought innovative elements to women photoshoots and transformed the public’s and the market’s view of women’s photography in my home country, Brazil.
I currently lead a successful business, providing high-quality photographic experiences. I also share my knowledge with my students through training and courses.
Every month, countless women experience a profound and transformative experience in front of my lens. And it is an honor to provide an unforgettable moment that they will carry forever.”
